Your 2013 BGMC Giving

by Mary Boyd, national BGMC coordinator

BGMC is racing along as we come closer to the end of 2013. You have just a few more weeks to make your goals. As of now, BGMC giving is 3 percent ahead of last year at this time. If we stay on this pace, we will once again go over the $6 million mark and possibly beat the BGMC giving record set in 2009! Wouldn't that be great! The more giving means more souls being reached for the Kingdom!

Within the next week, please be sure to double check your BGMC giving totals with what your church shows and what BGMC shows. You do this by calling contributor services here at the National Leadership and Resource Center at 417-862-2781, ext. 8840 or 1-877-840-4800 (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. CST) or send an email to contributions@ag.org  Don't wait until the end of the year so that there is time for corrections to be made.

Some Special Notes:

  1. Please remember that according to IRS rules, offerings have to be postmarked by December 31 in order to count for 2013. The offerings must be received here at the national office and not at your district office in order to count for 2013. If your church office is closed on that day, please mail your check in time to be postmarked.
  2. It's best to not wait until the last day to mail a check in case the post office doesn't get it postmarked in time.
  3. Checks received in Springfield with a January postmark will NOT count for 2013 giving. If your church Treasurer / Bookkeeper comes in after January 1, and cuts the check for December giving - it won't count for 2013 but would be credited for 2014.  All checks must be mailed before the end of the year. The best thing is to have the check mailed before Christmas.

Make the check payable to:  BGMC, memo BGMC - 007-001 on your check.

Mail To:

Thanks for all you do for our missionaries and for the world! We appreciate all that you do!
