Carson Writes Buddy: Giving to BGMC
Above: Carson (left) and brother Kaden
Hi Buddy! My name is Carson, and I'm in second grade. This year my parents asked me and my brother to ask Jesus what He wanted us to give to BGMC.
I felt like I should raise $1,000, and my 5-year-old brother Kaden felt like he should raise $100. So we did lots of things to make money for missionaries. We sold some of our toys, sold baked treats, and had a free garage sale where we gave stuff away for BGMC donations. We even worked at a local pizza restaurant for tips. We also saved our allowance, birthday, and Christmas money.
Well, this Sunday we gave our offerings to our church. With a matching gift from my grandpa, I raised just over $1,000, and my brother raised just over $140!
We love our church, Living Hope Church in Little Falls, Minnesota. Thanks for helping missionaries and challenging us to give!
