Missionaries Steve and Glenda Evans: Africa Water Well Project
Hello Friends!
The drilling of the well in the village of Paye, Zimbabwe, became a special time for us. Download our newsletter below. We were camping nearby in our 4-foot by 4-foot tent-trailer. It was three very hot days of waiting and praying for the miracle of water that the village needed. When we later returned for the dedication, we found a church full of exited and grateful people. They danced around the new well and beat on their buckets like they were drums. It was an incredible time of rejoicing that we had not seen in any other church. But above it all was to see the people come forward to receive Jesus. Some of the singing at Paye's dedication is on the video that we compiled from several wells we'd drilled in that area last year.
