David Boyd in Madagascar (Part 2)

And I ask you…to forgive me of my sins…and come into my life….

What a joy it was to hear these words spoken tonight by many, many adults, teenagers, and children. The tent crusade in the darkness of night seemed to push back the brooding darkness of lost lives. The shining joy of Jesus appeared on so many faces.
It was a wonderful day as our BGMC team taught children’s workers gathered from across the region. Most walked a long, long way to be there. They sat for five hours refusing to take a break, not wanting to lose even a minute of the new skills they were learning for ministry to children.
Madagascar is a place where millions of people in remote rainforest areas have never yet heard the gospel of Jesus. The Church is young—still in the beginning of organizing itself to evangelize their many villages—yet there is a passion to do so.
I express my great appreciation for the Lashways here as missionaries in Madagascar. What a job they do! What a schedule they keep as they endeavor to reach children, impact teenagers, train workers, instruct pastors, and grow the kingdom of God. Amazing.
As you know, BGMC funds are very needed by our missionaries. Giving to BGMC is important, yet we must remember the absolute best dollar you can give is the dollar given in faithful monthly support to missionaries. They have sacrificed so much to be here—learning the language and the culture, preparing the next generation of Madagascar’s champions for Jesus. Our missionaries are heroes!
God bless,
David Boyd, national director/BGMC
