What is a Rapid Responder?

BGMC Rapid Response Team™

Imagine the reality of being a missionary on the front lines of the ministry God called you to and not having sufficient resources to adequately reach and disciple the many souls around you. Your monthly support is sufficient to meet standard living and ministry expenses, but not much more.

Suddenly an opportunity opens—a critical need arises—disclosing to you that God placed you in your position "for such a time as this." If only sufficient funds were available! A host of souls remains in the balance.

Thus, the need for a BGMC Rapid Response Team!

The national BGMC office is frequently presented with critical and timely needs from Assemblies of God missionaries worldwide. These include disaster response, compassion ministry responses, evangelistic opportunities; the list is endless.

BGMC is searching for key churches that will join the "BGMC Rapid Response Team." Those who join this effort will commit to helping us meet a critical need somewhere in the world at least once a year.

The Plan: The BGMC office will present critical needs from missionaries to the rapid responder churches three times a year or so. At least once a year, these churches will take the need to their congregations with a goal to raise $2,500 or more, if possible—though smaller participating churches may only be able to give a portion of this amount. By joining the BGMC Rapid Response Team, your church can help us meet critical needs in a timely manner, giving missionaries near-instant support when the need arises.

Often our missionaries are overwhelmed by the vast numbers of adults and children without Christ who face crises everyday. Yet their steps are ordained to meet this great need. Please prayerfully consider if God has ordained your church to be a part of the BGMC Rapid Response Team.
