Marshall Bruner
Compassion Ministries Coordinator/ BGMC

Marshall Bruner, Ministry Development CoordinatorMarshall Bruner serves as the Compassion Ministries Coordinator for the national BGMC office at The General Council of the Assemblies of God. Marshall overseas BGMC special projects to assist missionaries through BGMC giving with their urgent and often compassionate responses and ministries. He also oversees the E-LIFE ministry, designed to challenge kids to reach their schools and communities for Christ. Marshall travels nationally and worldwide to provide children's ministries training.

"I have a vision," says Marshall, "to challenge children across the nation to be the new generation of E-LIFE missionaries. I wish I could personally pour this vision directly into the hearts of children, which I can do only as a children's pastor in the local church. However, if I can challenge children's leaders to train and prepare their students to be E-LIFE Kids, then I know God's Spirit will call children nationwide to live out their faith in their schools and communities."

Marshall joined the BGMC staff in 2008, following his transfer from the Children's Ministries Agency, where he served since January 2003. Marshall had transferred to CMA following 10 years of ministry at the national Royal Rangers department as the outreach ministries coordinator. He has also served as church ministries pastor and children's pastor at three Assemblies of God churches and has been in children's ministries for over 20 years.

"I thoroughly enjoy the ministry of kids' camps and crusades," Marshall says. "I combine the cutting-edge, multi-media presentation with the familiar and successful applications of illustrated sermons, drama, gospel illusions, and Bible storytelling using a dramatic ventriloquism approach."

Marshall and his wife, Jan, have been married since 1981. They have two children, Meagan and Micah.
