While doing ministry on the streets of Caracas, Venezuela, we saw up close the problem of abandonment. We discovered more than 5,000 children under the age of nine who had been abandoned by their parents.
As a result, we established the Samuel’s House children’s home. Today, 80 children have shelter at Samuel’s House, which sits on 18 acres on the edge of Caracas. Seven houses have been built, and one more is under construction. All the houses offer shelter for the children and loving care by the house parents. The children are learning through traditional schooling and through being part of a godly home that provides the love and support they desperately need and want.
Much of the supplies and equipment at Samuel’s House have been provided by BGMC. BGMC has paid for furniture, appliances, computers, computer desks, building materials, school uniforms, library books, and a generator.
Thank you, boys and girls in America, for giving to BGMC to help reach the children in Venezuela!
