But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (NKJV).
What would you do if you were a teacher but had no classroom? Or what if you did have a classroom but children were not allowed in it due to Covid regulations or other restrictions? You’d do the only thing you could—teach them wherever you can!
In spite of lockdowns and restrictions, churches are finding ways to reach out to their communities. In one city where children are not allowed to go into a church, a missionary found a way by teaching small groups in a jeepney outside the church. Meanwhile, they are preparing a room for the kids and trusting that very soon they may all come inside.
In a fishing village, a missionary team has been sharing Jesus with 30 families. Though they have no building, the children are eager to come and learn Bible stories, sing, and do crafts together. The families are thankful and are asking us to open a church in their village. We pray for more workers dedicated to teaching these precious children and their families, and we pray that soon there will be a church in that village.
