Rwanda: Thank You From Patrick and Jeanne Collins

We wanted to thank you for the funds that came through BGMC from the kids of the U.S. We now have 19 buildings for children’s ministry being completed all over Rwanda. Eighteen of them are children’s churches, and one is the National Children’s Ministry Center.

Thanks for your partnership in making it possible for children to have a place to worship the Lord! This past Sunday, we visited Mabuga Assembly of God. They have nearly 600 children and had no place for them. Now they have a completed children’s church building that fits them and with room to grow.

We wish you could have been there as we dedicated the building. The lead teacher would yell, “Abana!” (Children!) and the children would answer, “Yego!” (Yes!). The teacher would then give the reference for a Bible verse, and the children would recite the verse. This went on for quite some time!

Attached are photos from Mabuga children’s church as well as the adult church. Funds were given by Pastor Brian Hendrickson and his children’s church to complete this building by providing the roof materials.
